Did everyone go vote? You better have!
I've been so busy for the past couple of weeks, that my knitblogging has fallen by the wayside. I promise that I haven't forgotten you!
I'm now well over 1/2 done with Moses! I figured that, if I knit 9 rows a day, then I'll be done with the blanket in about 10 days. Yay! It is growing slowly but surely.
Today, I got the final mappage done for the cabled blanket. It is going to be a totally epic pattern. I made up blueprints for the blanket. Tomorrow at school, I'll scan it and post it up here. My patterns are all picked out and put together. The thing is going to be beautiful! Epic, but beautiful.
Tonight at work, I showed my pattern blueprints to one of the women I work with. She was totally fascinated with the amount of work that I put into building a pattern. I mapped out the entire thing on graph paper, then went into each square and put the pattern titles down. I did my front and rear elevations (drafting speak) for measurements and looks. It turned out pretty cool. Pictures will be coming soon!
That's all I've got for now. Until next time, knitters!

hi k! i'm with the lady at work - i'm fascinated, too, with your hard work with the pattern. i can't wait to see how it turns out. i have yet to do any knitting that has a graph or chart. is it as hard as it looks?
I have absolutely no idea how hard it is to knit from graphs or charts as I've never done it either. I don't understand the concept of taking baby steps...I dive right in. I'll keep you posted, though.
