Pictures and FO's!

The camera has finally come back from Philidelphia, so I have lots to share.

I FINISHED Moses!!!! Yay!!!! He looks lovely...about 35" square. I can't wait to give him away to my cousin next week. Time for pics and specs:
Pic:

The picture's a little dark. When I think of it, I'll lighten it up a bit.
Specs:
Needle size: US #9
Yarn: Caron Simply Soft in Victorian Rose, just over 4 skiens
Guage: 4 sts/6 rows per inch
Time: a whole lot

I'm glad to be done, and am ready to move onto something a bit more challenging.

Like a slipper sock! I'm making Fuzzy Feet from Knitty for my mom. Basically, you make a HUGE pair of socks and felt them. I'm about 1/2 done with the first one. Pic:

I'm knitting it up with Cascade 220 on 10 1/2 needles. I'm going to give them to her unfelted, and I'll felt them when we're both home so that they'll be a perfect fit. She can then walk around with them and another pair of socks on so that they block to her feet. It'll be good.

If these go quickly, I may make a pair for my Dad for christmas. I haven't decided yet. If I don't make him slippers, then I'll make him a hat.

Speaking of hats, I made three in the past two weeks, as well as one scarf. Here's two of the hats and a scarf:

Yeah...the pictures are kind of sucktacular today.
Specs:
The scarf is done in Hobby Lobby brand Elf eyelash yarn in Cameo held together with cream Caron Simply soft done up on US 11 needles

The blue hat (the one on the left) is the two hour hat pattern modified for a smaller head done up in LionBrand Wool Ease Thick & Quick and US 17 needles.

the green hat (on the right) is the Hot Hedd pattern from Stich'nBitch done in Cascade 128 and 10 1/2 needles.

I made another hat from the Hot Hedd pattern, but I don't have a picture of that yet.

My Holiday Knitting List:
Slippersocks for Mom
Hat or slippersocks for Dad
Hackey Sack for Joe
Wrist band and hat for Ken
Scarf for Avery
Scarf for Riely (done)
Hat for Colton
Hat for Andrew (done)
Scarves for aunts
Moses for cousin (done)
Baby hat for same cousin

So my mom went out to Philidelphia, and she and my dad took a day trip to Chesepeake City. While there, she went to Vulcan's Rest Fibers and got me a GORGEOUS 600 yard hank of hand spun, bulky weight Alpaca! It is soo luscious!
Pic!

I haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet. It looks awfully cute sitting on my granny square afghan.

Okay, knitsters, that's all I've got for now!

Until next time, happy knitting!

Thank you thank you thank you! Its very satisfying to have so many to report. Yes, there is a little smoke coming off my needles now. I'm giving those sets a little time to chill out bfore I do anything with them!

Moses looks great!

I made some Fuzzy Feet for my mother in law and she really liked them. I would suggest some sticky for the bottoms maybe. I did not do any on my MIL's and I worry about her slipping in them sometimes.

I really like your green hot head too. You are smokin!
